11/30 is another AX, but pretty sure I'll be out of town that wknd anyways. I'll get in on the "stuff it back in" party if that is few weeks later.
It sounds like the 964 wires are going to wait. Seems like Javier has another car on his mind now.

I've no clue-it doesn't sound like a lot of fun, but it was the 964 for that. I'll probably do my wires while the engine is out.

I do have the lift, but I have an ATV jack too, which I use to support the engine when it comes out.

Hey Ed, count me in. Work fascinates me, I can watch people do it for hours.

Bring it to Ed's. When he isn't looking, we'll throw his engine into it.

Ed,
I'm going to try to make it down too, and lend a hand if at all possible...Sounds like you'll have more that sufficient help; but I do enjoy a learning experience. Although I dont drink, I might as well bring some beers for the parched onlookers ;-)
Cheers,
Paul

Ed-

I'll try and be there as well. Its always a good day in your garage. Be sure and send a personal invite to Adam; he's really the guy you want there to help.

Cuda, just sit in your car with that cushy suspension. you know I'm gonna tease you about that forever, right?

Well, that's the last time I share any deep dark secret with you!

I'm thinking of upgrading the suspension with air shocks. My goal is to start with #1 and #2, and eventually get a look similar to #3 below (maybe Ed will help if I have a shock party):

Ed,

I'd love to make this but I'll be out of town on the 30th. Probably a good idea for you to stop by my garage though before this and take all my homeade tools and such in case you need them. Like my wood cradle with notched out area for engine seem? Tranny jack for added support? Some "custom" catch cans for power steering fluid? Bag of SAI cleaning/reaming tools? Lots of stuff you might need that I'm not thinking of. Let me know if you want to raid the garage. I know you have a lot of this from your previous targa engine drops but I'm sure I have a few things you could find useful. Let me know. And, of course, if you guys have a question put me on speed dial.

Ed you're about 1 and a half to 2 hours away from me but I might make the trip down because I've been really wanting to see someone do an engine drop so I can learn from it.
