Yesterday afternoon the new 993 finally arrived! ![jumper](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/jumper.gif)
I couldn't be happier. This morning I rushed to the Tag Agency for new tags and registration, and a nice afternoon leg stretching stroll. Turnpike all the way to US-1 and back.
Man, these Fister IIs are something, aren't they? The visceral growl is out of this world, and here I thought that the Fabspeeds I have on the yellow '97 were already out of the ballpark, but no comparison! Kudos to Justin and his team!
My thanks to Bill, Tony, Jason, Henrique, and everyone else that helped me out during the scouting/PPI/negotiation/shipping process.
To top it off, I had two business trips in between finding the car, buying it, and arranging and taking delivery of it. I've learned my lesson. Don't ever do that! Doing it from afar is a drag....
It's an early 1994 built (3/94) with great options, including the really nice soft back (very rare, I understand) sports seats, and M030 suspension!
64,500 miles on the clock. 3 previous owners.
The PO have done some nice Mods, but more importantly a nice list of upgrades and maintenance that makes it drive very smoothly.
I still need to address some little things I already noticed, to bring it to pristine condition. My friends at Vertex will be happy about it!
I'll soon post more and better pictures, but here are some of the unloading moment from the flatbed that brought it to my office.
Man, I'm happy!!
