Thanks for the advice and feedback guys.
Will have to figure out what I want to do. These wheels are hard to part with but something about sport seats really complete a 993 for me.

I have hardbacks in my car. With that said I have problems understanding the high premiums they command. There is nothing wrong with the standard seat. I drove a friends fully standard 993 C2 a couple of weeks back. The difference is not that big. With the premium payed it´s not that hard to fault the owners that sell their hardbacks separately when selling their cars and installing standard seats or Recaro PP/SPG. Guess they get more out of the deal in the end that way depending on what type of 993 they are selling.

So are those the same set that the OP is referring to?

Fair straight up trade only for absolutely MINT sport seats with crests as-new. Otherwise, I would just sell them outright, they are worth more. $5k is very fair price for those wheels.

They would look good on THIS Midnight Blue, and I'm just down the road........
But dare I ask, other than bragging rights, a set of look-a-likes would be a bit more economical and no major hard feelings if hit with curb rash etc. Would seem more appropriate for a show car. Could wind up somewhere in Texas....

There are a couple of companies that sell replicas. Probably the best low cost option is the Speedline Alesios. A used set is normally well under $2k. Not a perfect match but close enough to trick most people and still a speedline wheel.
