To make that car presentable you'd have to put at least $18K in cosmetic work alone (if you're not doing all of it yourself). At which point you would have a decent looking 186K mile car but you spent $45K on it. I personally don't see the value in that transaction.

a well optioned car for starters, driven hard...and put away wet, and scratched, and dented.

If cars could talk, I'm thinking this one could tell some stories.
