I did see colored wiring diagrams in a manual once, a long time ago. Glossy paper as well.
Even the Toyota and Honda factory manuals have B&W wiring. The difference is, they section off systems, for example, headlights, etc. so you are not following a slew of wiring that has nothing to do with what you are looking for.
Same here. I was in a waiting room the other day going over Bosch CIS in a book. The person next to me had a tablet. I said, "look, no batteries required". LOL

The diagrams don't fold out, they're printed on the same 8 3/8" x 11" orientation as the rest of the book. However, where we needed to we split wiring diagrams across several pages.
I don't yet have a sample of the wiring diagrams that we'll have in the book, although as soon as I do I'll post them on our site and post with a link to them here.
