OBC Light Staying On Permanently
As per the title, my OCB light is staying on and flattening the battery.
Any ideas why it might be doing this and if by any slim chance there's a quick fix (being of limited skill with a PCB and soldering iron)?

I would guess that the internal transistor that controls the OBC backlight have failed in the conducting state. It's a fairly easy task to change the transistor for someone with some experience with a soldering irion. Maybe a local radio repair shop or something can help you? Have a look here for details.

Tore knows how to fix it. If the car battery keeps running out, maybe it´s the little light under the front hood that stills shine, even when you close the lid.
If not that is the promblem, check the rear lid light also, and the glove compartment.
To find out if the light is still on, use your cellphone, turn on the film mode and leave it running while you close the hood.
Open the hood and watch the movie.
My front hood light killed 2 brand new batteries for me..
