Haven't started the car since last September. So today out of all days I decided to go for a drive since the forecast called for a dusting of snow followed by rain. Now I'm stranded. MPSS + snow = bad news.

Hate it when that happens.

I used to take my 72 911E up to Tahoe to ski and drove in snow like that .. even deeper. Rear engine=good traction, but with summer tires, steering is going to be dicey .. just take it slow and nurse her home .... and watch out for idiots ... ;P

...even 4 would have trouble moving on this on summer tires.
I'm really hoping for a few decent days for a drive in January.

Just throw on some studded tires Ilko and you'll have the most fun you can have on the street with a Porsche! :thumb up:

Try that here in CA, and you'll likely be a cellmate of some rather unsavory guy, shortly to be his bitch. Or die trying to avoid it.

Made it home safe. Took 20 hours but the snow turned into rain this morning and the roads were passable. What an experience...

I had just installed Tore's LED kit and my hazard lights were visible from a mile away. As were my tail and brake lights. Big thumbs up!

Damn Ilko. Glad it had a happy ending!!! It was quite the ice rink out there yesterday. Even my company sled was struggling on the way home....

Drove down to the Baltimore area today. Had a little fun in a tunnel...

Thankfully I was able to park the car in a warm spot for the day. 20 weight oil doesn't like sub-freezing temps...
