For me it is enough effort to decide what I want, so why waste any effort deciding (or space storing) what the next guy might want.

This is a question of personal philosophy not "importance". Nobody else can answer that kind of question for you.

I think the reason some save their old (stock) parts when they upgrade is because people want to de- tune. go back to stock when they are selling the car. Many buyers only want to spend what the book or going rate is for a car, if a car is loaded to the teeth sometimes people loose money selling all the goodies with the car. well they de-tune back to stock, sell the un wanted tuned parts and then sell the car as it was almost re-couping most of the money back from the whole journee of ownership or that's the goal anyways. best of luck and happy storings.

I am of the belief that you should keep your OEM's. A set of fister exhaust will always be worth something extra; and should you ever sell your car it is never worth the sum of its parts.
Removing upgrades allows you negotiation tools in a sale, and as stated previously, upgrades are always worth something on their own.
For instance, a nice set of wheels, PSS10, 3 spoke wheel w/airbag, GT3 sport seats, are all removeable, desirable and sellable items by themselves.

Thanks guys for the feedback. I will always mod my car they way I want. Unless you plan on being buried in your 993, there will be another owner and I'll pass my car on in stock forum and sell my modded parts separately.
