Default Country specific rear seats?
Just so happened to be looking at the following ad:

If you look at the rear seats it looks like they have bottom cushion side bolsters and a different carpet pattern... I have never seen this before, just wondering if it is something specific to ROW cars?

Kinda reminds me of the very early 911 specific rear seats in '64-66 ... the 912's didn't have the side extensions.

JP, Those seat butt sections look like shovel blades! I agree those rear sport seats are the next have to have rare accessory for the 993.

I gotta say, those look factory to me. You would need a Japanese PET to verify any part number deviations. I want them because I can't have them.. :-)

Japanese D.O.T. minimum width for seat ... just a guess. I know they have those kinds of regulations for aircraft seats .... (width, not legroom ... ;-P)
