MG has been around a long time. They seem to always manage to find buyers willing to pay their prices. I met Gene Hauck when he was sales manager at the erstwhile Fred Baker and he seems like a pretty straight shooter.
I guess if they can get that for a tip, it's nothing but good for all you current 993 owners. As much as I'm enjoying my new Boxster, I still miss both of my 993s. But, oh, those ventilated seats for an old fat guy

IMHO, they'll get close to the asking price. It's not something I would be after but it's a great tip!

There is at least one old thread on this car and it was available in the 40K's for a long time, so I'm not sure whom the buyer might be, but the buyer will be taking a big loss, if they want to sell it quickly as noted above.

Don't think the buyer would even know what Rennlist is ....or even care.

A short term Rennlister who owned it in 2011:

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...-to-forum.html

Previous thread:
https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...nsmission.html

Another previous thread with old eBay link in 2011:
https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...-42-999-a.html

The car has been listed on eBay and discussed here a few times over the past couple years.

Well, folks have heard of eBay. Someone keeps buying it and listing it for more.
