Still on the hunt for a driver c4s. Considering higher mileage ones. Having a hard time putting a value on ones with over 150k on them. Seems there really arent many out there that are changing hands, so trying figure out their real value. Im thinking high twenties.Thoughts and opinions appreciated as always

C2 cars with 150k seem to be low 20s, possibly high teens if lots of work is needed, interior is trashed, etc. C4S at the "normal" end of the mkt seem to get 5k premium (give or take), so if you do the addition (perhaps minus a little off the premium for higher mileage cars)....
I'm SWAG'ing low-to-upper-mid 20s. (say $21k-27k) (Caveat: I really haven't been following the mkt other than reading RL993....)
BUT, as u7t2p7 is aiming at....buy based on condition & maintenance history. You can sink $3-5k REALLY quickly just bringing neglected maintenance (brakes, fluids, tires, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, etc) up to speed. That's before you talk about fixing leaks, clutch, doing a top end rebuild ($$$$).

As you said there are not many comps so it's down to you and the seller. There are so many variables with 150k mi.
I would not be surprised to see very small gap between c4s and turbo at high mileage.

Once a 993 is past ~120K, I think condtion is more important than miles. A well sorted car(C2), with complete history that needs nothing should be worth mid-high $20Ks. Subtract from there for any needs.

If you are looking for a c4s than you are going to pay $32k-$39k , if you are looking for a NB than yes $20k and if you find a c4s for $20k let me know and I will give you $27k for it right away ....
Good luck with your search..

Agree. I searched for some time before finding my c4s and I never saw a 2 in front of the price. Low or high mileage. The market is heating up. Prepare to pay to play or find one in considerable need of tlc. Good luck with the search.

I sold my 111,000 mile C4S for $42,000 4 months ago. Most people who have these cars already know what they command. Bargains are few and far in-between. Raise your budget or lower your expectations

I guaran_______tee you that if I threw mine out there for $25K, I'd still have a buyer bitching that there was a rock chip or the carpet had wear. So there's no motivation to do anything with it other than drive it. And when the time does come to part with it, I'll make sure it's totally destroyed or turned into a track rat.

These threads kill me...Show me a real-world ad for C4S with over 100K miles
for less than high 30s.. I know I've seen a couple sketchy examples roll
through for less a few years back, but good luck finding a clean car for that.
