What's the best way to remove the stone guard stickers?
Hello! What's the best way to remove the stone guard stickers? Anybody have some ideas? On one side it seems easy to peel off but other is very stubborn.
Here's a pic of it.

Be very careful with the heat gun.
Especially on one this cracked up. I have had paint peel off primer removing these things and so have others on here...
Especially when they are this cracked up.
If you are having a detail shop put new ones back on, I'd find a very reputable/careful shop and have them peel the guards off. Make sure they are apprised to the fact that if not done with care, or too much heat, it can peal the paint.
The guard in the picture will most likely come off in as many pieces as you see in cracks

First step, search this forum for others experiences; several horror stories and successes to read over and get some ideas of do's and don'ts.
Then proceed cautiously, when I removed mine I used a 'blow dryer' (not as much heat as a heat gun) and 3M adhesive remover.
Again, cannot stress caution enough or paintwork may be in your future; there is good info on here to review.

I have a heat gun with 3 settings, so I guess I'm spoiled. I've used to to take matal emblems off my truck, and had no issues. I agree with the above that they will likely come off in a number of pieces. I wonder why my original ones still look like new?! Maybe it's because it doesn't get super hot up here in Canada?!

Just did mine. Took about an hour and a half to get both sides off. They were the originals. I used a steamer I had that I normally use on clothing. Also used goof off to get the remaining gunk off. Messy job and a bit time consuming but I didn't have to worry about blistering my paint with the steamer.
