Default Oil brand@weight?

What brand and weight oil are you using, and why? Thank you for your input.

Excellence magazine tech. Recommends 15/50 for our air/oil cooled engines. Does anyone use Motul or Red line?

gosh, wouldn't it be cool if we had, you know, talked about oils once before.

snark aside, do a search, the reading will keep you busy for the next 2 weeks.

Analyze whatever drips from your under-engine panel and use that.

Olive oil, first press.

You asked for input, this is mine. If you would take the time to use the search function, you'll have more than enough input.

What coolant do you recommend? Green, orange or clear?

Although I generally shy away from "use the search function" replies, I completely agree with those above.

Oil discussions have got to be the most discussed (over discussed more likely) topic on this or any other P-car forum. Quadcammer said you'd be busy for two weeks..........I'd bet more like two years. The volume of reading material is simply mind numbing. The subject of said reading has similar effect.

In the same spirit,...

I use & recommend (and sell) in no particular order:

1) Brad Penn Racing 20w-50

2) Motul 300V 15w-50

3) Mobil 1 V-Twin oil 20w-50

There are some other good ones too, but I've had good luck with the above products and really like what I see on bearings, rings, cams, rocker arms, pistons, etc.
