Nice done.

But you can really simplyfi this drilling..bigger holes and more holes.

Draw a square diagram over the plastic cover, the pre drill with a small 4 mm, then go up to 10 mm and open up the holes.

Put back in car, take it fore a ride

^^^ order the Fisters and forget about drilling the holes. I had a set of Fister II's before drilling the holes and noticed no difference in sound whatsoever. Nice excuse to bust out the drill and punch a bunch of holes really LOL

Template has been sent to FabianS. Sry about the wait.

I included a new twist drill and machine screws/nuts to hold it in place while drilling. I made sure the machine screws were Robertson drive to confuse the 'mericans using it

Enjoy all!

Why not just cut out the entire back of the box?

And if you remove the box, will it give a good idea of the sound with a drilled box?

If you remove the box entirely you will expose the MAF and, I would expect, create undo turbulence going into te MAF. I just decided to take out he back while sill retaining the ability to hold the filter. At he same time I took off the tranny hose to the filter box and sealed the hole in the engine tin with a piece from the cover. Some have replaced with tin from a Tip.

At first I thought this thread was a parody, but no, it appears to be real.
