Now you know a little secret - Porsches don't really melt in the rain

Nice shot, though. And sounds like a nice trip with your dad.

I like the 997 a lot (I have owned 3 different iterations), but I love the 993. Classic beauty!

Wash her up, and she'll be as good as before the rain. Enjoy caressing those curves.

I just got the car a few months ago. will this stupid grin on my face ever go away? The plan is to eventually do a couple DE's every season (and it was set up nicely for that by po) but at this point i'm still getting used to driving/owning her. So realistically I probably won't make it to the track this season.

Nice cars, rain is good! even better with a squirt bottle of wetting agent and a cotton rag!

Whoever first applied the term baskethandle to the US spec. 993s rear must surely be a basket-case; it's aesthetic appeal can only be appreciated on a cabriolet with the roof down and tonneau in place
Aerodynamically speaking it also has the benefit of channeling air into the engine compartment while providing additional downforce over the highest point on the hump
All in all a baskethandle designed in the wind tunnel
....but that's a different post
