Unfortunately we are still unexpectedly waiting for the interior so no finished photos just yet, however Marc was working on the roof last week, fitting the new skin. Not a job for the faint-hearted as it took Marc and Rob nearly a week playing with the tension in the cloth to get it tight.

Sorry it's been a while, but what can I say? Business sometimes gets in the way of pleasure, even when your pleasure is your business, but hopefully I'll get back to normal service soon enough.

The good news is that we are almost done. Robin had the Speedster on the wheel alignment machine last week, once all was pointing straight and true he set it up on the corner weight scales and measured the overall weight and diagonal splits. Without any adjustment this is what he measured, 1331kg (2928lb) overall.

We're hoping to get the car to a Porsche Club event on Monday, so with Marc hopefully collecting & fitting the seats today the boys in the Ninemeister bodyshop masked the car off, machine polished the paint, cleaned it all off and gave the body a finish coat of carnauba wax. Nearly there.
