Notice some other strange thing...

When I try to start I see 2&3 on the dash (from the gearindication) blinking.

Postion of the gearknob is in P mode
Is does also the same thing when putting into N (so 2&3 blinking)

Does the Tiptronic have a starter interlock that could go bad?

Flashing tiptronic lights on dash would have been obvious, has this just happened?

There are two possibilities I think:

1- the above, I called ratatouille in the beginning of the thread

2- the what is called PEN, that 'turbo' is using, must be acting on the electrics.
I do not know of this pen, but it looks like it works on continuity, and if so, I do not like it. I use a classic ohmmeter.
The gearbox could go into safe mode for several reasons, one of which is volatile ignition timing change. Maybe the PEN gave the pseudo-signal and the tiptronic went in safe mode

Turbo, try to disconnect the battery for a moment, and connect it back, does the gearbox flash again ?
This is weird, we reached the point where electrics on distributor worked, and now they don't anymore, hmmmm
