YUP! You always want to be over 4000RPM's with them! Sadly it's about illegal speeding in almost every gear.

With Fister's exausts, you only change the last mufflers to ge the "sound" I can hear at Youtube, or do you need to change the cat. cells or other things?

Most interested in the Stage II.

Just the Stage II is enough IMO. I really does sound great, and it sounds better the older it gets.

Chad - glad to hear(?) that you got the exhaust installed. Next time I manage to drive mine down to Atl we'll need to do a comparo between our cars. We'll need a tunnel free of "enforcement" types. I would imagine we'll get into some sort of trouble regardless.

suggestion: box up your fabspeed and send it to Darin. He can do a Stage III mod on the maxflos.

This is what I did. Not the cheapest route but I finally got the sound I was after.

I think Darin would be happy to reimburse you for any "donation" you may be asked to make to the local Police Benevolent Association. Right, Darin?

Default Fabspeed cans

I have a set of fabspeed cans that were on the car when I got it.
Darin can do a stage III on them.
Only problem is, it's my dd and it will take about one week to complete.
Is there anyone in SoCal that has a set of bischoff cans to loan for a week or so?
I'm in Ventura county, and will do some driving to pick up.
Thanks,
Kevin

Stage ll. that is the way to go. Period. Three's nice. But too loud. Unless you want people to stare and think your on a Harley with straight pipes. IMHO.

Fister Stage II and III, is there any problem inside the car?

Is it very loud inside the coupé also?

You don't what to be deaf if you are going driving a few hours..

Not loud at all in the car for either stage ii or stage iii... No resonance or droning either.

Hey fun thread! I've been swamped at the shop lately and haven't been on here for a while. I'm glad to see some friends enjoying the fruits of my labor

As for Stage II or Stage III debate, it is all personal preferrence. I think the Stage IIIs are perfect for me on my coupe, but for the wifey's cab, Stage II definitely fit the bill.
One man's "too loud" is another man's "not loud enough!" That's why there are options
