If you have lightened your car, and have an accurate weight for it, how much does your car weigh with a full tank of fuel? Also what weight was removed ie A/C, sunroof, etc.

I'm assuming you want coupe numbers ...
FWIF - empty tank numbers: Widebody Cab before - 3221lbs/9m93SpeedsterS after - 2998lbs = Delta 223 lbs
Most of that weight savings is less glass, fully lined and motorized cab top v.s. manual speedster top, manual sport seats, and removal of rear seats and panels.

Here's what I measured, missing is the individual weights for, the RS/CS flywheel, RS brakes, cruise control, rear heat parts, bumper drilling, trunk equipment like carpets, spare, covers, tools etc., fogs, exhaust as that was all done and included in the base chassis weight
In Martin S's thread I looked at the wrong cell and erroneously reported an incorrect lower wet weight, the correct one weighed on corner balance scales is 2835 w/ a full tank and Forgeline track wheels/tires it matches pretty well w/ the individual weights in the table, there have been numerous individual changes in other areas not documented but it all seem to have averaged out

3,005 with a full tank of gas, no driver:
RS Interior and door panels, no radio speakers
Sparco Race Shells
Heigo Cage
O-Z Allegrita 18" wheels with Hoosier R6 tires
Air conditioning
Sun top
Cruise Control
200 cell Fabspeed cats + X pipe
Stock mufflers
Heater blower delete
I'd love to get rid of the sun top...but I don't want to cut the roof off.

3072 track ready (1/2 tank + 190lb. driver allowance), as posted in a couple of other threads recently: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...ferrerid=21505
I can see taking 100 lbs. off, which would bring it in at the same weight I raced the RS America in (then) D Stock. But comparing to when I have a ~150 lb. passenger, I'd see under .5 sec/min lap time difference. Is it worth the bother unless you're wheel-to-wheel? And at that point a 993 is a poor choice.

What I am surprised about is that the amount of weight removed by most people subtracted from the base advertised weight of a C2 = 3064 pounds should equate to a lower weight than most are getting after removing the equipment.
The 993 C2's 3064 pound advertised curb weight is to DIN 70020 specs which is a base equipment car with spare, 90% full tank of gas and other fluids topped up with no luggage or driver.
My bet is that 3064 is the weight of a German ROW car without the, optional in Germany: Sunroof, Airbags, Alarm, 5 MPH Bumpers & Air Conditioning that is standard for the USA car. I also bet that 3175 - 3200 pounds is the real weight on an accurate scale of a USA C2 without other options and a 90% full tank of gas.

BTW, a Euro RS has an advertised DIN 70020 weight is 2800 pounds, presumably with a 90% full 92 liter fuel tank (normal C2 is 73 liters).

It's exactly for the reason you list: a/c, sunroof & all that extra stuff which adds up...
My car originally weighted 3127 lbs with full tank and it's a C2 with a/c, sunroof, had hi-fi option and sports seats.
(so DIN with 90% tank would be ~ 3115 lbs)
My car's current weight with full tank is 2918 lbs. (Full tank: 19 gal x 6.1 lbs = 115.9 lbs)
I still have sunroof which should remove 50 or so lbs (I'm thinking of going c/f route) and I have a full cage which added 100 lbs. I also have pretty heavy wheels which should take 20-30 or so lbs off once I get better wheels. Other than that I think I'm pretty "done" with weight removal. Want to keep the a/c and stereo with two small door speakers that I have. Lighter wheels
