Default Spacers

Does anybody know the difference between H&R's DR and DRS series spacers? Can either be used on a 993?

I believe the difference is that the DR is for cars using lug bolts and DRS is for cars using Studs.

The 993 uses studs, so you would want the DRS.

I think you are correct. I couldn't quite glean that from the description on their web site, but your explanation makes sense. Thanks.

DR Series spacers fit between the wheel and hub, and require longer wheel bolts (ordered separately).

DRS Series spacers fit between the wheel and hub, and require exchanging the existing wheel studs for longer ones.

DRA Series spacers bolt to the hub with special wheel bolts (included) and provide new threaded holes for the existing wheel bolts.

DRM Series spacers bolt to the hub with existing wheel studs and special nuts (included). Wheel is bolted to new DRM wheel studs.

I carry 7,15, and 18 DR spacers and longer bolts if anyone is interested.

Im also looking for spacers for my wifes new Sienna SE van. The wheels need to be spaced out more to look correct. Need DRM in 20 and 25mm but dont see them on the tire rack site. Oh yea, I mean for a Camry since H&R wont sell them for a van.

OK, I have an honest question for you. Which would be a bigger waste of money: Spacers on a minivan or a Rennlist membership?

tough call, but I'm still going with the spacers on a minivan.

I'd argue both. The path this site it headed down sounds cartel-like: "Another concept is to charge say one or two bucks to access the archives for a search - Ok maybe access for say an hour since you may need to use different search agents" (said by another member, different thread).

...before you know it, it'll have more rules than the NCAA.... I encourage someone to show me some actual value-added benefits to becoming a member (besides what I already get for free) and maybe I'll reconsider. If the founders are having to juggle multiple jobs (doubtful, to say the least) in order to keep this place up and running, shouldn't they be looking into selling their share or adding partners? If they're experiencing a higher loss by providing their services, than by not providing their services at all there's no choice but to shut down and someone else will come along and do it better. Another factor is that the interface is absolute garbage. Sorry, but the same could be said about a PCA membership. Just my .02

Obviously you havent seen many of his replies to people. It just gets old. As for what I wanted to hear I could care less. I bought my wife the coolest van (as far as minivans can possibly go) and want it to look good. Called bieng a car guy.
