The sunroof open close button is on the bottom row also. I think it is the last button on the bottom right.

I am just working from memory, sure would help if the OP would post some pictures.

PS. Do you think we scarred him away?

He can, but I noticed that every single manual listed in the time I was looking was more expensive, way more, than a new Owner's Manual from Sunset Porsche.

For my 1995, part number WKD-993-021-95, and $60.19 last August.

You have to watch ebay. Many Porsche parts are far cheaper from discount Porsche dealers. Mahle oil filters for example, are cheaper from Pelican Parts than the ones I saw on ebay.

I have the same buttons, but my rear wiper is in the bottom middle and spoiler is bottom right.

I assume OP does not have a rear wiper, thus no button, and or does nothing.

The blank switches should have been reserved for garage opener where I don't have a rear wiper.

The red button is for a nitrous boost. The middle button with the key on it is pressed only if you lost your keys. And the exclamation point is a punctuation mark placed at the end of a sentence to indicate excitement.

I'm thinking of getting the guts from the "that was easy" button they sell at Staples office supply and wiring it up to the "surprise" button you mention above. Better yet if someone knows how to wire it up to kill the check engine light that would be truly awesome!

Top - in order from left to right

Vodka release, Disco ball (not an option for cabs), Passenger eject.

The non operating button can also be mapped to the passenger eject button, therefore, leaving the top right button for the rear machine gun tail light release.

Anyone have an idea what the switch circled in red is for? What does that icon represent? The car is a 97 turbo. Sunroof and rear wiper, yes. No retractable tail, of course. (FWIW, the buttons below it are for an aftermarket radar detector.)

Quick Reply: What are the buttons on my new 993?
