Man,Seems like every time I try to repair or fix something I break something else. So now I am looking for a part number for the right side pollen box cover where you replace the pollen filters. The engineers at Porsche did not make this car owner friendly. Anyway It is the part that covers where the pollen filter goes.If you see the p-car article on " how to replace pollen filters" it is the cover shown there under the screwdriver. Thanks,
I assume that you mean the black cover that you have to remove to get at the pollen filter. It is part number 993-572-904-00.
Somewhere on the net I found a copy of the Porsche "993 Katalog" that has part numbers for pretty much everything. It is very useful. You might see if you can find it.

Opo is the man for sending over parts!
Right you are. (1. I hope it fits,(2. I hope I dont tear up that part as well!
Still haven't heard how to install this cover easily so you don't break it. I just used a small C clamp to pull the cover in and clip the clip. But on one side I crushed the plastic ribbing. Still useable though, just looks ugly.
I was thinking a small channel lock, or angled pliers could come in from the side and pull top and bottom together. How do others get this cover on?
