Yup, no need to have all caps in thread titles (or posts).

I don't think there is a fold out screen that will work, because of the way the upper dash kind of sticks out.

BTW, the best speakers are Fister mufflers, and best amp is a Fister sport CAT

So I guess just a general FYI, you've had a few of these threads and have had similar reactions from various members. You seem to take offense to the comments every time. The reason I mention this is an saying that comes to mind, every group has an ******* friend, if you don't know who the ******* is, it's you.

Good luck with the stereo.

I think that messing around with the stock stereo irritates the purists - including myself. We never use the stereos.

This is a ornery bunch, but helpful and good folks.

At this level of audio amplifier output, you would surely require a custom hi output alternater winding. What size voice coils/speakers are these that require 500-1000W. There's that "watts" thing again....

Here is the deal. There are many members on this forum that have literally thousands of hours of experience that you can leverage from, and many who have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours helping people. I think yoau recognize that because you are asking questions here, and expecting answers.

However, be aware:

- People will start to form an opinion of you based on your responses and style. Common conventions such as no use of capital letters unless its yelling should be followed, that is internet wide and it shows you are not very experienced on the web. Is is not a "crock" - sorry. STOP CAPITALIZING!

- Show some respect for peoples' time, like really attempt a search before asking fundamental questions. Just showing making an attempt helps, like for example, instead of saying "Gee, duh, what radio is best?" you can say "I searched and saw that the xxx radio seems to be common, why would people buy that - this radio yyyy seems to be much better because of ...".

- you will get much better responses if you contribute, not just take. A continuos series of question, that is not contributing.

So you are thinking, what the hell is this guy talking about, and why should I listen? Here is the fundamental reason -> if the opinion that is formed of you is a negative one, you will see less and less responses, and the experts will stop answering you.

I for one am almost there already, if I see another post with all capital letters asking for something fundamental, I will just ignore it. So will many others. If you continue, then I will ignore all posts with your name.

We are all volunteers here, some for decades, and if you put some honest effort in and show some respect, you will have a much better experience than if you continue doing what you are doing. You very much have to earn respect, and you are given a certain amount of it as a newbie, but yours is running out quickly. You can see that responses to your questions are getting more and more negative.

Best of luck with your stereo ...

Cheers

Mike

Education through humor.

Compliance through joie de vivre.

Understanding through Steve Weiner.

Could 7 billion people (minus one) be wrong about all caps?

(I hope you know that we're just having fun with you. Sort of. If you're going to get offended by all of this, it might be time to turn in your password, for this is the Brave New World.)

Well stated Mike and Mark.

Same goes for all lower case, and "text shortcuts". It is cumbersome reading such. One of the things great about RL, is a nice level of communication ability by it's participants.

You'll never get access to all the info in the archives with a new thread so getting better at searching will be of great benefit to you.

This guy is one of the best IMHO - Rod Birch at Car Audio Innovation. I bought his subs and mounted my amp in the trunk in front of the fuel tank.
