Can anybody with the "batphone"/ factory cell on larger center console option verify the location of the microphone? My car has what looks like the mic on the face of the gauge panel low between the tach and speedo. Does this match any others out there?

A picture is worth a 1,000 words.
I'm familar with the center console/phone option somewhat from bqck in the day; Always thought the phone electronic's component of the over all option was stupid. IIRC the mic is a capsule type on the steering column. < IIRC.

Wasn't there an aftermarket replica of the console portion? Seems I read this where a custom stereo shop constructed a close copy.

Should anyone have a black leather version to sell, thats the OEM option phone/console component, I'd like to hear from ya. Please send PM.

Guys, can you help me to find factory number of this front panel in cell phone big console? I bought car with this option (don't know its number) but have some 2din radio in it. I would like change it back for original one. In my Porsche dealer they cant find it… Do you know something about it?

Not sure this will help much at all but the option code listed on my cars paperwork says that the cashmere phone console was: S6C. This was, obviously, cashmere color console with the Motorola phone dock.
