MACH993

I'm looking for a copy of the 993 Essential Companion. All of the copies for sale on eBay show a 1996 publication date. Since I have a 1997 C2S, I want to make sure it covers that year. Is there a particular edition I should be looking for?

Mine shows a 'first published' date of October 2005 - I remember Adrian Streather talking about it frequently on the UK 964 boards before then as he was putting it together. It also has all the details of the 97 models, so i am pretty sure a 1996 publication date is an error.

edit: I just checked a few on eBay and they almost all state publication date of 2005 or 2006....

I would not worry about it. There are hardly any differences between the 96+ cars, and I didn't see any real model year difference thing other then the 95-96 switch over to ODBII.

While it's a great book and good resource, some of the info a little bit dated today.
