Those gold centers are perfect, I would paint all your wheels this colour, so much better than the black centers.....

Very nice built, I love the tires...
No fender liners at the moment but I will try to protect the essential areas with pieces of plastic liners in strategic places.
This is not a daily driver so I am not that worried about it. The car sees abt. 2000 miles/year and most of it track time. Plus I am trailering it to and from the track.

Yes, if you want the GT2 flares or like in my case, the EVO flares.
You can install RSR flares directly on the narrowbody panelling.
One word of advice if you plan to take on a similar project; Get NEW body panels. I bought the rear quarters used, BIG MISTAKE!! The cut line was far from ideal and lots and lots of prep for paint. I paid 500eur/panel and just recently learned that new ones only cost 900euros... I was told earlier they are about 2k/each. I should've checked it my self...

Yes, there is a gasket going in between the flares and the body. This is the FVD "installation kit" that includes the gaskets and the bolts for the flares.

Seeing them on the car today, I totally agree. I will paint both the Kinesis and BBS centers gold. The kinesis are still in pieces so those I will do now but the BBS will have to wait until winter as I want to drive the car too!

I thought there must be a gasket between, good thing for sure.

Yea, gold wheels look cool with practically any Porsche color. Very nice.

The gold wheels look like fine jewelry on a polished gem. I can't wait to see it finished.

Today I spent the best part of the day and the evening working on the car.
The rear is almost done now, only the muffler tips to be cleaned up and polished and the banana wing installed.
I painted the wing brackets black and the wing will get clear coat tomorrow.

I also did some other stuff here and there, it's all simple work but it takes time.
The drivers side skirt is installed, it looks awesome with the gaskets and I tell you the low sideskirt really transform the car!! Without them, it looks like a GT2 but with them, it looks ridicilously low and wide!!

Tomorrow passenger side skirt and the loose front bits of the skirts, then it's time to tackle the front.
Then clean up and wash the car and do some polishing. Should be done by end of the week...

Wow! Simply Wow! I just spent approx 45 min going over this thread from the very beginning...never mind that I had some other work to do. Best 45 min I have spent in a long time.
Thanks for sharing.
