Default Workshop Manual - inflation.

This set of workshop manuals was listed last month on Ebay for about $950 but didn't sell.

Here's another chance for you - now at $1032.30.........that's inflation for you!

Incidentally, i already have a set and have no connection with the seller.

Pay no attention to the inflation behind the curtain!

It's not happening! Hope and Change!

HOWEVER, if the automatic reduction to the automatic budget increase, which is still a net budget increase (read: "budget cut"), is not stopped by President Nero, I have been assured by the people inside my television that, not only will inflation approach a gazillion percent, driving up the prices for 993 Service Manuals, but babies will be eaten to avoid global starvation, a man will come by to toilet-paper your home, essential personnel at the DMV may have to put in fewer hours than they already do, more kids will shoot up schools, fire and brimstone will fall from the sky, dogs and cats will live together and, generally speaking, we can expect mass hysteria.

Somehow, it all reminds me of a very sweaty Paulson sitting next to a very calm Bernanke.

I'm Stuttgart951, and I approve this message.

A few years ago I collected all of the 911 manuals 1965-1998 (except turbos) via ebay. They may have appreciated more than any other investment I've ever made. And I can use them while they appreciate!

Slickster85

Copies can be made but there are 8 volumes and the electric circuit drawings are double or triple size.

Eight three ring binders would be needed.

[Hey, $1000 doesn't look so bad!]

Yeah, helps to own a printing company.

I've got a set, its all black work with no bleeds. The fold outs are standard sizes as well.

I'm guessing it violates some laws however.

Save this crap for the P&C forum.

Simple supply and demand, not too long ago Pelican had the manuals for $400 a set but that supply ran out so prices went back up.

I felt lucky at the time and more so now, when I scored a used set for <$300 about 2 years ago....Pelican still had their $400 versions at the time, so that helped push the used price down. But a $950 set that didn't sell, followed by a $1032 set that probably won't either...that doesn't say "The price now is..." It says "Someone would like to make a killing"....but probably won't.

Honestly, I haven't used my manuals much, actually. And you can spend $950 or $1032 on your car in much better ways...

The 993 Turbo manuals recently went NLA from Porsche. Perhaps the standard 993 manuals did as well. That would drive the price up.

Civilian contractor? My condolences.

You should lighten up a bit - try and find the humor in everything.

Bingo! And RL frowns on violation of copyright laws.
