Peter, any particular reason why you are going for a mid weight instead of a light weight flywheel?

The pictures were on photobucket. I did some organizing on there and didn't realize that would screw up all the links... I need to fix that.

The mid-weight is because I am scared of becoming one of the xx% of 1995 owners who has stalling issues. My wife already thinks I am an idiot for screwing with the car, so if I make it stall than I will not hear the end of it! Joking aside, I don't want to deal with the stalling issues either and figure the MWF is a safe compromise.

The 2nd gear is fixed on the input shaft but removable on the output shaft... a little confusing I know but here is a picture to illustrate

This shot is taken looking straight down at the input shaft. The gears in your direct view are 1st and 2nd (and 3rd gear is also visible). Notice that they are machined directly onto the shaft and are non-removable. The gears below them are their counterparts on the output shaft. I only need to replace the larger removable gear out of the set.

Hey Peter,

Any updates on your transmission?

Are there any tricks to removing the nose section of the transmission?

Peter - I have a bunch of stock G64/20 transmission bits left over from my regear, including the 2nd gear that goes on the output shaft. PM me what you are looking for and I'll see if I can find in the mess that is my garage right now.
