Glove Box
So no kidding there I was...driving down a road which went from rough to aweful. When I hit a particularly rough patch my glove box popped open. I tried to close it on the road, but I could not. When I got home I determined the small metal U which the glove box latch locks into had fallen out. I suspect this is an easy repair, but I am not sure what right looks like.
1. Has anyone done this repair before, any words of wisdom?
2. Would someone please snap a quick photo of an open glove box, so I can see how the metal U fits into the car?

I had the same thing happen to me, same circumstances. I ordered the U shaped catch assuming it broke off. When I got it, I found it to be the same as the one that came out. Just shove it back in (carefully) and lightly tighten the 2 phillips screws. Should be fine for a while.
