Drive from Vancouver WA was not only a great drive, but was gorgeous as well (Mt Adams in the background). And the red car was an "honorary" 993 from Oregon; car in the front was a black 993 Turbo S.

Drifting
What a great day of driving! We had a 993 Speedster, TurboS, and great showing of wide and narrow body cars as we drove the rural roads of eastern Washington State.

I just got home as well - great people and cars and the weather was fantastic. Thanks again Nathan for arranging this!
Bit of a slog coming home, and the border was busy, but it's all good. Just put away the bug-covered Turbo to bed for a wash tomorrow. :-)
Cheers,
Mike

^^ Some bugs are still stuck in my teeth! They finally came off my car, but a permanent grin's on my sunburned face
Wow, what an event for those who like to drive their 993s
Some rock ... er, "character chips" remain as souvenirs of this amazing weekend.
So much fun! Just got home. Speaking of travel, the 'international contingent' really made it special - it was wonderful meeting Canadian RLers!!!
Kudos to Fest sponsor Nathan for his inspired vision, and for being such a gracious host to out-of-towners
SO cute! Trophy for best-dressed? Look at his feet & hand: practicing heel/toe shifting?
A taste of the delicious eye candy:

A few pics of my drive from Orange County, CA to 993FEST as well as a few pics of the cars and event. Great event, thank you to Nathan for arranging this experience!
There are a few faces in these pictures. If you want me to remove/edit them, please let me know via PM.
Backroad through Nor Cal or Oregon (not sure where)
Short stop on the morning drive
Ooops. 5 miles of a gravel road on the route. We slowed way, way down
Short stop right before the last 1 hour stretch.
Carwash time. 2411 miles roundtrip. Great, great event. Thanks to all.

windshield and the second with the mirror.
Again, thanks to Nathan for putting on a great event and thanks to all of the participants for taking
time to support Nathan. I, for one, came home with some fond memories and some new friends.
