On another note, if anyone attending 993FEST starting from Vancouver Washington/Portland on Saturday AM is interested in dinner Friday night (why not start 993FEST early) PM me.

All you people posting what you have gotten done is KILLING me! I have a long to-do list and I think I have gotten almost nothing done on it in the past two weeks! I made real traction up front, but have fallen behind! My list:
-install OE 993TT brakes- Done!
- install painted C2S split rear grille- Done!
- install 993 TTS fogs and ducts- installed but cooling ducts not hooked up yet
- new techequipment OE carbon aluminum shifter/brake handle- Done
- re-paint and install turbo front bumper cover- decided to wait, might as well chip up the current paint...
- roll the fenders, adjust ride height, re-align, needs to be done, current setup rubs in just the right circumstance.
- paint and install Recaro A8. Probably wont make it....
- complete detail, NEEDS to be done!

We are going to DRIVE the car, right? All I am doing is a quick wash and go - will bring my wash gear for a cleanup but will live with the winter polish ...
Weather forecast looks good so far -
I will be picking up a fresh set of Sumi's in Seattle the day before - multiple track and autocross runs have pretty well toasted the current shoes, but I cannot complain, they actually lasted really well. That means I will be on some new (and slippery) rubber ... should be fun.
Cheers,
Mike

Washed it today. I'll top the tank off with no-ethanol Friday.

Where have you found no-ethanol gas in the Tri-Cities?

Hey guys,
The last time I came through the Spokane area I gassed up at the Chevron station and I was told that Chevron quit putting Ethanol in their gas! Versus the Shell that was across the street where they still believed in putting food in the tanks... "just saying" and just FYI

Anybody know where the car washing is near the hotel ?
Any detail places open? Maybe we can get a group rate?

This year Nathan was talking about having a detailing company coming in with a power washer of some type which may accelerate the wash cycle - at $15/car. Not sure if that was in place last year. Its mentioned in the group email he sent out a while ago:
Car Wash/ Cleanup- I have contracted with 1st Priority Detail to come to the event at 4pm with a truck mounted pressure washer. For $15 you can either have your car cleaned by his crew or for those so inclined he is providing the cleaning supplies and water, you do the washing and he will rinse the car. Please let me know if you intend to use this service so I can give him an estimate of how many people to plan for. One thing is 100% guaranteed, your car will be FILTHY with bug splatter and brake dust!
Cheers,
Mike
