$230K and only 1K miles? That is just plain crazy talk. The yellow interior is enough to make my head head spin. For that kind of money I would rather have a 997 gt3 and some other toys.

No wonder it only has 1k miles on it, every time you get into the thing it gives you a migraine.

If I had that kind of money to throw out there I would jump on it been a yellow guy since I painted my Christmas gift of a red Schwinn yellow at 9 years old. First thing I would do is put some Hoosiers on it and do some Sebring laps that would break it in right before its to late

The buyer of this car would also have to invest in a special wardrobe to drive it.
After a second thought, the buyer probably already has the matching attire.

The person who buys a car like this, buys it to store, and not to drive. They are not the same people we are.

The car is expensive, but it's the lowest mile 993 I've seen, and looks to be in dam near perfect shape. It is an investment car.

I wonder if it still has had yearly oil changes, and bi-annual brake fluid changes? I happen to LOVE speed yellow, but the interior is just a little bit overboard for me, just a little more black would be perfect!

yep, I think this is one of those cars where the factory black/sparkle finish IS setting off the seats :-) But honestly, I could live with it. There's just enough black - rugs, dash, carbon, seat backs, headliner .. to make it liveable. If I could go back and massage the order a bit, I'd of left the dash knee bolster black .. I think that would really tone down things a bunch. BUT .. are you kidding? A brand new Turbo S? If I could buy it .. I'd drive the livin' bejeeeeezus out of this thing and never look back. The first rock chip is the most painful ... after that you'd be smilin' listening to the money suck out the sunroof Do they still sell those gold Elvis glasses with the lightening holes ?? ..

My thoughts are black side bolsters or black centers in the seats, black door pulls and arum rest and black center console switches. I like the yellow, but it's almost overkill in this car.

This is obviously a investment car, and not a driver, I doubt it will ever get a rock chip. Poor thing.

Our MINI Cooper S was ordered with yellow interior leather by my Wife. I said she should change it, but she didn't want to. After seeing the car in person, it totally works, and looks great! It's 3 tone with CF trim, and yellow leather with black leather/plastic.

Very nice and it happens to be in the fastest color.

I'm not thrilled with the abundance of yellow on the interior. I might be able to take the yellow on the door panels and maybe the dash bolster, but certainly not the seats.

As for how it was used, if I owned it, it would be an Absolute Zero day in hell when others start to tell me how to use one of my possessions.

Hell that happens to a new car. Drive it off the lot and you've lost at least 15%.

Somehow, I don't think this is just limited to use of your possessions

When I see cars like this it breaks my heart. It's a travesty to hold the soul of a thoroughbred 911 in prison. It's like seeing big predators in a Zoo ... it's just morally wrong. Some well heeled humanitarian needs to set this car free!

Since we seem to be flogging this dead yellow horse back into 1997.

For those of you who claim to want to, if you had the means, put this/similar car into daily service..........wouldn't you rather take a "regular" 993 Turbo/cab/whatever and give the factory restoration department unlimited funds to build what YOU want? Sure, it wouldn't have near-zero miles from new.

Oh, wait. There's a guy who posted just above me that kinda did that. And I've got a not-so-showy version of my own, thankfully paid for by someone else.
