^^^ yep and what you have fits in the later hard foam 'spare wheel' mount that I listed above which can be ordered as a separate piece.

Yea but my spare tire compressor fits in the spare. The jack is in a bag in the very front behind the bumper.

Yeah .. that's basically what most 993 owners do. The later foam insert allows for the compressor and tool kit to fit inside the spare tire well under it. Just a neat package .. the other way works fine as well.

So if I get the foam, the jack, the compressor kit and the tool kit will fit? I didnt know there was room on the underside for the compressor. Now that makes it worth buying.

I have a late '98 and it was delivered with the 996 compressor but I think that unit is the same height as the old suitcase 993 style. I'll look into it and report here ...

That makes sence. The 996 compressor is way smaller.

It is in width and length but I think it's just as thick so I'm pretty sure the old style compressor will fit under the foam, it just tucks into the rim a bit. I'll check into it and get back to you:

Same here and I can't see anything like a scissors jack fitting in the left-over space, either at the sides or above the air compressor.

My jack as well as my Porsche tool roll are tucked away in that space. Each are wrapped in a smaller towel which can be used after a roadside repair if needed. The towels also make them fit nicely without them rattling around.
