New to me 993
I am the happy owner of a 1997 arena red/grey C4S. This is the car that epj993 recently sold:

This is my first P-car. I first became aware of 911s in the late '60s/early '70s when I saw them at Mill Valley Porsche-Audi. I almost bought one when I graduated from college but went with an Alfa Romeo spyder instead (a 911 T was a bit more than I could afford). After the Alfa there were lots of family cars, but I have been coveting a 911 off and on since then and the time was finally right. I briefly considered a 997 or 991 but finally decided that a 993 was what I really wanted. I absolutely love the way the car drives, looks, and sounds (wife likes it too but I haven't let her drive it yet). The AC doesn't work but I won't have to worry about that for a few months. And thank you Eric for taking such good care of it.

hmmm, first post, photos and lots of them.... Someone has been lurking and reading very carefully! Congrats on the fine first post and welcome to the mayhem and adventure that is RL993!
Glad to see a RL car staying in the family, so to speak. Your only concern is that the wife gets jealous of the new, other woman...

congrats / welcome / enjoy!
how many miles?
PO had good taste, that looks great and was very tastefully done. I really dig the wheels and how they're OEMish in a mash-up of MY02 / 965 3.6 Speedline kinda way
odd there are those who tell you what to do / not to do with your car... it looks fantastic, and... well... do what you like 8-)
Funny how so many of us here had / have similar backgrounds in cars (great mindz heh heh) - I actually sold my '3 of 19yrs to get my cab, and had a 4A IRS that my dad had bought new but it was too far gone for me to commit to resto. There's a number TR / Alfa tifosi amongst.
It's been said that owning an Alfa is mandatory car-geek bucket list material... I'm looking forward to it someday, been a long and fun road until then.
