Default Any have an extra cigarette lighter?

Mine got misplaced.

Looking for a replacement (doesn't have to work since I don't smoke).

I just want to plug the dash hole.

Any one have one for sale?

Look under your passenger seat. It usually ends up there.

Might be a good thread to place part # for future reference.

Part #993-652-307-00, "cigarette lighter assembly". Just the lighter itself is not listed separately.

Or, if you aren't worried about having a lighter at all, drop by your local Ford dealer where many of their cars use a decent-looking cover plate dealie that covers the "power outlet" hole.

I plugged up that hole with this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/PORSCHE-Bill...ac2b76&vxp=mtr

no affiliation, etc.
You may need to wrap some electric tape around it as it is USA sized not the larger euro socket size...he also has these in bare aluminum finish

Funny you say that - I replaced my seats this week and while I was vacuuming the passenger side after removing the seat I found a cigarette lights stuck under one of the metal tabs - must have been there for years!

I have a Porsche rechargable flashlight plugged into mine. I keep the lighter, which works, in the glove box, you never known when you'll need to start a fire!

Default Part # 993.652.055.00

I have a spare, see pix. Yours for $10 to cover mailing cost from Calgary Canada. If actual shipping cost is more I'll cover it; if less, thanks buying me a cup of coffee.
  • This one reappeared after I bought a replacement (yes, it was under the seat snugged up by the rails)
  • Pretty sure it works, reads 3 Ohms on multimeter, but can't test as my C4 is in a state of semi-disassembly for winter overhaul
  • Some light corrosion around metal base, I can touch up with wire brush on bench grinder or send as-is, whichever you prefer.

cheers/bc
