Default Anyone running this exhaust set-up.....

I had RSR's w/stock cat. Loved the the sound, very "Porsche-like" but wanted more.
Just installed a Fabspeed 200 cell cat (Gen.1...not an X-pipe). Sounds great at idle and up to about 3 to 4k. Then the sound turns very metallic/hollow/raspy (not in a good way..very import like). Does anyone have this set-up & experiance the same ? Thinking of going with Fister stage I's (trade anyone ?) to regain the Porsche rumble that I miss.....

I have RSRs and Dansk 100 cell split flows. Mine only gets better at high RPM. It's not gentle sounding

I motorcycle building buddy if mine recently said "man your car sounds angry!" He used to have a 3.2.

I've got RSRs and high flow cats. Don't know who makes the cats. It's loud when cold but quiets down when warm. Sounds fine while driving and no drown. It does not have cracks or pops I hear some Fister owners report. I've never heard the car from the outside while driving down the road.

I also tried stock cans with these cats but settled on the RSRs.

When I first picked up the car, it had Fister IIIs with the cats. It did not sound good to me and was way over the top loud.

I used to run RSR's with Dach X pipes with 200 cell cats. It sounded incredible! It was awesome at idle and perfect at WOT!!!

Default Fister Stage 1

I put them on only this year, not sure why I waited so long.
They sound PEFECT.

BTW; I had EP1 on my TT, Gundo hack on my C4S.
This sounds better!

Funny how a 200 or 100 cell cat can change the "personality" of exhaust cans. My once loved RSR's are now sounding like a fart-canned Civic under hard throttle. Giving the Fister stage I's a go....

That sounds great. I heard Fister II this weekend and they are barely louder at idle than my stock motor sound mufflers and no different when on it. I need to hear the IIIs.

I found Stage IIIs slightly louder than my stock mufflers. Not very loud at all, but that's very subjective.
