I'm very happy with my Coverking Stretch Satin custom car cover. Ultra soft and top quality. I got mine from AutoAnything. They have offers such as free shipping and discounts for 1st orders.
I'd also look at the indoor car cover from Carnewal.
Edited to add: I do not use my indoor car cover unless my car has been washed and dried. Anyone picky about their paint won't put a car cover on over dirty/dusty paint. I use my cover during winter storage and the odd time during the summer.

I have the same need but would like to buy a none fitted cover. Just a cover that can be draped over the car. Any vendors supply just a quality rectangular non scratching material?

I've had a hard time finding a nice, loose, draping, non-fitted cover
But for a form fitting indoor cover, the Porsche cover is great. It's like lingerie for your car
There is a specific cover for each 993 variation

Cant go wrong with the soft indoor covers from Gert which are made in Italy but are a little expensive. I've had mine for 8 years with no issues even when you wash them. The factory Porsche European covers are made by the same suppliers Andrea but only come in one colour where Gert can order a few different colours.

I also have the fitted one from Gert, and I love it. Had I been more 993-shaped I would have considered draping myself in it coming out of the shower in the morning. It is really a great fit, and the material is sturdy and of good quality, and I feel the inside cover protects the paint and the car. Highly recommended.

Covercraft, formfit, satin black.. love it, it's super stretchy, super soft inside, and easy to put on and off by yourself. I like how it goes all the way to the ground too.
