Completely agree with you, the rear wing of the Porsche Aero kit II is a thing of beauty and a joy to behold, giving balance and symmetry to the best looking of all 911's ..........

I'm thinking some fender skirts, a continental kit, a full width external sun visor, and some tear drop spot lights will really set a 993 apart from the staid crowd.

Cab lights too. And mud flaps.

Yup, the problem for me is choosing one of the many beautiful wings out there. I do admit that from some angles (if you look down on it from the 2nd story) the car's rear looks perfect without the wing, however, from most angles you need the wing.

To the op, if you like it do it but I can't say that it's something that I, or even most people here, would do.

For me, the bi-plane wing just isn't enough cowbell. I'm waiting for someone to make a tri-plane wing. Something that says to people, "The guy driving that car is pretty serious about driving and wanting to be noticed."

Isn't that any wing on any Porsche that's not there to cover an intercooler?

So be it. But I still declare for all to hear that the bi-plane wing is possibly the single fugliest add-on to a 911 ever created. It looks like the car was rear-ended by a satellite dish. It is a total violation of all aesthetic standards, and especially the aesthetic standards of the 993. I wouldn't put it on a Firebird it's so ludicrous. That tail should come with a GPS-activated driveblock device that prevents you from doing anything but cruising the Miami Beach strip.

Just one man's opinion.
