I have driven this car and was intrigued by its charm for a little while until I went on the highway and got blown around.

It makes a fine city car and for rest of the world where smaller cars are the norm but to have this car here on the US highways would not be safe in the event of an emergency.

Enjoy your new ride OP.

I've got a friend who is a proctologist. Maybe he can help RL out with an aholedectomy?

It probably is easier to just ignore him. I have gotten to the point where I feel sorry for him. I remember when I was young, I always saw the negative in everything, but as I grew older I started appreciating things, even though they weren't perfect. It has to be sad to have the resources to acquire things, yet never actually feel satisfied with any of them.

I try to just ignore all the non-practical discussion that goes on here at times, and not take the bait too much. I think he (and others) just enjoy baiting people and putting stuff out there to see what happens. The best way to deal with that is just ignore it, to me it's usually just a waste of time. Lets talk Porsche and cars, not get into insults and pushing buttons. Reacting to it is fulfilling the original intention perfectly, which is exactly what he wants you to do.

I will admit to siting by the sidelines with my popcorn at times to watch the exchanges and see the pressure rise - there is an entertainment component to it as well.

If you want to really put a member in his place, have everyone on the list just ignore the posting - no reactions or comments, just continue on as if the post never happened. Do that for a while and I think the message will sink in.

Cheers,

Mike

Enough of the people bashing already! Sheesh.

2qwik ... the Abarth is obviously not for everybody, so don't take offense when somebody states as much. And to those that don't like the Abarth, I think you can state such without reference to feminine hygiene products or Justin Beiber.

To get back on track ... I do not personally like the car's look, but I am very happy that it has served a niche for the OP, and thanks for sharing your experiences.

Finally ... there is nothing wrong with naming your cars, darn it!
