Shift knob options and opinions

Here is a response from Bob @ Sunset:
We have had the crest **** here before and I think the part number is 99642498115VRJ (black) $349.76. I have not seen the turbo version so it maybe 99642407505FGT $224.71 but not sure
Anyone know the part numbers for the Porsche supplied shifters?
Cheers,
Mike

Here's a change on what you are already looking at Mike:
Picked mine up earlier in the year and love that it feels nice, isn't Porsche specific or priced and has cool LED's inside to light up at night (you can choose color).

quite frankly, i really like the oem turbo ****.
mine is a bit worn, but if i had to replace it, i'd go with new factory one.
do you not like the feel of the stocker?

I find it a bit slippery so I thought I would look at options. I have driven other cars with a different set of knows and liked some of the shifters much more. Personal choice drives a lot of this.

I have the RS shifter, coupled with the RS shift lever. The **** is small, and feels light. But with the added height of the RS lever, the feel is perfection. My hand seems to fall right on it every time. The entire shift process feels light and effortless. It just feels right with the weight of my steering wheel. To me it's one of the little things that add up to the agile tactile feel of the car.

I have #2 and to be honest it looks good and feels okay but when it is cold, the aluminium can feel rather cold. It takes a while to warm to the hand. Not a problem in California but here, it is cold more often than warm. I like the one that Cam has in Dubai...

Which one is that? Can you add the picture to the thread?
