Advice please, I am an ex 993 twin turbo owner, I have a pair of turbos taken off a 6000 mile 993 twin turbo in 1999. I am in the UK and want to put them on ebay – does anyone have any idea what these are worth. I am still missing the finest car ever built! Many thanks for your help.
Yes k16’s,I bought them from a guy on rennlist who had upgraded his. I wanted a spare pair encase mine ever gave up, they never did, I sold my car 6 years ago and just found the spares! You never know someone out there might really need some and want to avoid paying £2500.00 for replacements.
Really? I think it depends on how they were stored, and the conditions. If bagged and in a dry/heater space, especially with oil in the bearings, it might just be ok. They might require a cleaning, but not sure about a rebuild...

+1
Too many variables to pronounce them DOA
That said, even if a rebuild is needed, you are looking at <$800 to freshen them up (to stock spec)
Miles and how they were treated are critical
This means knowing/trusting the seller
They have been bagged in air conditioned storage, they don’t need refurbing at all, I would really appreciate knowing what they are worth – if I still had a 993 TT I would be worried about replacement turbo’s one day and its nice to have a spare set!
Many thanks
