Don't think it affects the value at all, since you're respraying the bumper anyway. IMHO, it's a no-brainer -- much better looking. I went with stock orange Euro lenses instead of clear. ][/quote]

+1 I think that is the best looking combo!

Spending your time worrying about the stupid resale value of this is just pointless.

own the car, don't let it own you
+1, best way of looking at it.

I had to repair my bumper and I did the bumperette delete and clear corners and I'm really happy with the results. Go for it!

Where did you get this done? It's on my list for next season!

When I get around to doing this I think I'll just buy the euro bumper and keep the stock one in the attic of the garage. But that's just me.

FYI, if you're worried about the "stock" issue resale reasons, you're really worrying for nothing but remember that the holes behind the bumperettes were butchered for US regulations after the fact so even if you have them covered and then at some point want to go stock and put the bumperettes back, you can aways cut the holes again and installed them.

I did the bumperette delete front and rear, and yes, running amber turns front and rear too

I think it really cleans up the look of the car

IMHO, it adds value, it really looks better and cleaner. While your in there, fill in the license plate holes.

I would even go further.. and get rid of the headlight washers... If your respraying the bumper, a good place will need to blend the hood... So go for it all!!!!

Clear markers, and Turbo-S scope, and a nice clean nose..

I agree with others.. Do what you want and drive, drive, drive...

I did mine about two years ago. Every time I look at the car I like this mod even more.

" While your in there, fill in the license plate holes."

I wish I had done this too along with the headlight washer delete.

I will definitely do the licence plate holes (I have the bumper plugs now). As it relates to the headlight washers, I thought about it but I just put a clear bra and would want to keep the respraying to minimum and only to the bumper (vs the fenders). I agree that it would look better but will pass on this one I think.

I will order my Turbo S scoops with LEF fogs and clear side from Gert at Carnewall. He was helpful. I will also install the gert front protection bar (since I am getting the car lowered to ROW height).

thanks
