I had one of those Pocher 993 models a few years ago. I was a bit unimpressed with the way they (Pocher) modeled the engine in a very simplistic undetailed way compared to their vintage car and even their Ferrari model kits. There is a company that puts out an enhanced detail kit to bring the model up to the standards of the body and chassis. GLWS!

Try $940 USD http://www.ebay.com/itm/K31-Pocher-B...item4607c14193

I've been asked for a price on both models combined and will do the two at $700 including freight and insurance. ($50 USD saving)

They can be finished to a high standard especially using the transkits.

Here is an engine kit http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pocher-1-8-P...item5ae9c0cb2c

Check out these Pocher builds http://www.scaleautoworks.com/PorscheGT2transkit.html

Actually, he is in the right price range. We sold our last Pocher for 500.00 (built). We've seen them go as high as 700.00. As for the UT, they can go for a couple hundred when boxed in mint condition. These are toys for big boys.

And I bought it for NZ$450 bargain. Thanks James.

Ofcourse my task on this model has only just begun as there are a few problems that need to be addressed.

Hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction.

How's that for a first post?

The rear bumper was attached with three screws that don't belong and have damaged the rib attachments. Those can be strengthened.
main problem is the engine. Its missing a few bits.
Even though this particular model is my first one its a very simple model. Most of my 1/18th scale models can do more.
Its currently dismantled partially. Wheels are off and so is the body. Makes it easier to reach the engine and hopefully find some much needed parts, or more likely improvise my own.

Now then... how to add a photo...
