Default 993-991 comparison pics.

Here are some side by side pics of my 993 and 991. I think the 993 is hands down the prettier car. Thanks again for everyone's help.....Chris

The 991 looks like the 993 after someone dumped 100 Viagra tabs in the gas tank.

Nice stable of cars

Eric, Once it stops raining I'll be happy to. I've tried to show the different fender heights and windshield angles, but I'm not much of a photographer. Look at the difference in side mirror elevation. The cab is a bit clumsy from the rear. I think a fairer comparison would be with a coupe. The reason I bought a cab was to replace my lifelong motorcycle habit. Is there a particular set up or angle you are looking for?

Those are two beautiful looking cars !! Love the color of the 993. If your thinking about changing your side marker lights on your 991, we offer European-specification front side markers in clear with amber bulbs. It is a short do-it-yourself project that results in a visual transformation of your new 991.

991 is huge!

Nice stable, but those warts (license plates) on the front of your cars have got to go!

I just paid a $50 ticket to the DC government for not having a MD front tag. The rural county in which I live enforces the front tag law. I was hoping that front tags would go the way of the buggy whip, but speed cameras depend on them.

WOW....Ur right the 993 looks so much better. The 991 front intake kind of has that 4RE 360 Modena look or something. Doesn't look Porsche.

The 991 dwarfs the 993 in comparison. Watercooled requires space for the radiators the 991 looks like a pudgie step brother.

The 991 has radiators the same place the 993 does.

As I said in the other thread I love the 991 but not so much when side by side with a 993.

Wow. The front of the 991 makes me think of a Ferrari - like a 599 or somesuch - or even the old Lotus Elan's (remember those?) headlights. Hmmmm.
Damn, that thing is W-I-D-E. ("Chumlee" comes to mind.)
