Talking '95 C2 Cab - My First Porsche!

Hello all-

I have been reading this great forum quite a bit over the past weeks as I was considering a 1995 C2 Cab and really appreciate all the great knowledge and information.

I finally pulled the trigger and bought my baby last week; flew one-way to Dallas and then drove her back on the 3 hour drive to Houston. I fell in love instantly and can already see the slippery slope ahead! Is it just me or do these cars get better the more you drive them? She is a white cab with a widebody kit and 55k miles.

I would really appreciate some feedback from any Houston-area members on repair shop recommendations other than the local Porsche dealers. She is nearly perfect but I need to get the following items checked out:

1. Trip Computer Not Working
2. Passenger Side Mirror does not adjust with Remote Control
3. Spare Key & Remotes (PO only had one key with no remote)

Also, I am considering investing in Porsche crest center caps for HRE wheels from Boothe designs and a chip from 911chips.com so any thoughts or input on these is appreciated as well.

I am excited to be an owner of this great machine and a member of this great forum. Thanks in advance to anyone that can shed some light on the items above!

the heat from that parking garage is fogging your lens, unless its the intense love making coming from the black SUV...

nice cab! looks to have a body kit on it...

You are right about the intense love making part but it's between me and the car! Sorry about the poor pic quality- lighting was off and I used my iphone. Below is a pic from the previous owner; definitely has a wide body kit on it that looks Strosek-esque.

What was the date of production? Early 95's didn't come with keyless entry.

Piranha- thanks for the info. The VIN plate shows production date of 1/95. No prob if there is no keyless entry but do I still need to go through a Porsche dealer to get a spare key?

Thanks to all for the kind congrats messages. P-Daddy below are a few more pics per your request-

Very easy DIY solution to 95 keyless entry . Just get T-lock from Tore

Thank you! Just ordered from 991CHIPS so I'm looking forward to eliminating that sub-4000rpm lag!

If anyone has ordered the center cap inserts from Boothe Designs I'd love to hear your thoughts. Cheers.

I hope to god you don't mean the $600 "no-turn" ones.
