the little section above the sun visors and below the front latch for the cab top is even green, that is awesome. so many nice finishing touches.

Congrats !!
It has the USA option code and I don't see any indications that it would be a ROW car.

This car spent a lot of time in the exclusive dept to have this leather work. I would have bought it had I seen it advertised
the quality of the Green against silver in the sun is one I like
but living in Germany I see a lot of Green interiors on Silver
or black cars

98C2s Ocean Blau 31K miles
98C2 Cabriolet Speed yellow/black 77K
96C2 Targa Midnight blue / tan daily driver

All with PSS10s Kenwood 996 and FD IIIs

Yes I believe it spent a great deal of time in production. It is a '95 but was not delivered to the original customer until March of '97.

Even the fresh air vent louvers are wrapped in leather.

I'm certain the builders remember it well.

Did it come with the window sticker? I would love to know what the MSRP was on that thing.

The delivery in '97 could very well be due to color (it might have been used as a demo as well).

Builders might remember it well (remember the funny mid-90s commercial showing how they came up with Rivera Blue color based on one of the employees socks?) But, as Gmund mentioned above, this is not a completely uncommon color in Germany. It seems to me that people like to be a bit non-conformist there with colors. Well, ordnung can get boring sometimes.

Mike,

237 miles when titled.

Green would not have been my first color choice either, but it works.

Regards,

Here is a shot of the option sticker.

It appears to be painted an earlier color not offered in '95 hence the paint to sample number.

I'm wondering if the 982 silbermetallic color was a European color only because when when googleing "Porsche color 982 silber metallic" there are a couple of links to suppliers of European touch-up paint. Nothing shows up from any of the suppliers stateside.

The car was delivered in 3/97 w/ 237 miles but has a build date of 5/95.

And this is the 100th post.

I'll be slowly detailing her over the winter.

More pics to follow in the spring.

Regards,

.

really digging the green against the silver. I'm a big painted back's to match hard back man...but I don't know about this one.

Congratulations, what a gem regardless of price. I'd like to see more detailed interior pics of the leather bits also.

Al, the way I look at it... the car has plenty of headroom money-wise to swap the entire interior if needed. So I wouldn't worry there.

Hi Mike,

I will not change the color, will add some finishing touches - ;-) such as some FD cans, and some motorsound tips. It is not nice to mess with Mother Nature.

The leather wrapped CD holder will be removed. It is too easy to pop the holders open with my elbow and after every drive there are at least three opened.

The seats will be moved back to accommodate my long legs, but other than that she is just going to get a nice through shampooing for now.

See you at the Larz.

Best Regards,

.
