Congrats on the acquisition, Al! Quite the score.

I am *firmly* entrenched within the camp of "must be an interesting color and color COMBO"... I'm so tired of all the 'normal' combos I've had and that are out there. Was a huge factor in me finding my Arena / silver / marble, a funky top color was a MUST! Makes such an opulent and striking presence.

That one is wacky enough to be lovable. Really dig the green top against the silver. The green interior is... well... digestable 8-). Great point about it being 356esque... hadn't thought of that.

I've sat in my bud's 996C2 coupe silver / green full leather - sitting in it feels very - GERMAN - certainly!

I believe that green only came full-leather, similar to how the 996 Metropol Blue did... and then it's got the ~ $3k extended leather option (vents, *****, herethereeverywhere etc. etc.). I don't really 'get that' as many of those bits seem to be covererd with some sort of goo instead of being leather - and esp. @ throwing $3k out the window for it 8-).

But hey, rock on for whomever had the bank to order it.

I found the green to be LIGHTER than those pics - those pics make it same more tolerable. It's pretty bright. I couldn't live w/ it on a 996C2 coupe - but could certainly on a 993 cab w/ matching top... and that green trunk carpet is just **** - nice touch. The fact that it's got sport seats is just further bauls factor!

Great price, amazing miles.

I hope to get up to that Larz event - be great to see it and meet you / others.

And there are still a bunch 'o cab days left here in sunny New England... enjoyed mine down on commutes all week thus far!

That was one EXPENSIVE 993 when new. These full-leather interiors with all the extra leather options are a sight to see.

Unique color combo. Glad you like it and that the sleuthing paid off. When you put the CupII's on take care of the rust on the brake rotor hats.

I'm thinking these are the original option floor mats;

XX1 Embroidered Floor Mats (requires leather interior trim)

Here is a picture, not yet cleaned. The drivers mat is different than the others I've seen. It extends in one piece from the usual spot at the front of the seat to the top of the toeboard w/ color-keyed embroidered cut outs for the pedals.

Superb acquisition . Not a big fan of silver ( too common ) but with the green interior and roof combo it sets it apart therefor I am jealous ! Congratulation.
