Which ones are you looking to install? IMHO, the factory "big ovals" still look better than twin tips or any other set up.

996 Turbo exhaust tips will not fit a 993 muffler which is swaged out at the end - the bottom muffler in this photo.
The 996 muffler is straight and the tip clamp is nothing like the 993.

The 996 tips wont fit a 993 as the inlet is not centered on the 996 ones (I dont know if they would line up ok on an S car), its offset and the 993's are centered. The 996 ones dont have a swaged inlet either, its just open, as X50 says

I had some bespoke tips made up as i like the twin pipe look

Very nice. Thanks for the lead, Pervy. I have this type on my Cayenne and they were a whoooole lot more costly, as x50type said.

The listing I posted isnt the exact ones I got, I asked for a bespoke pair with my sizes, they also cocked up the inlets and sent straight ones and not swaged ones so I had to cut that piece off both tips and weld on a swaged section. It was a fair bit of mucking about.

Pervy911

I see, "they also cocked up the inlets and sent straight ones and not swaged ones so I had to cut that piece off both tips and weld on a swaged section. It was a fair bit of mucking about."

Mucking about is an under statement; you must be an apprentice trained metal worker - to make and weld on swaged ends is no small feat.

End result looks great.

[the swaged ends and necessary curved clamps seems over-kill to me but typical Porsche - heavy and expensive]

All I did was to cut off the complete inlet pipe and after cutting off the flange welded these on;
