Wouldn't it be funny if the person who bought the RB C2S really wanted a cab???

This [potential] sale will be a better barometer as to how the "market" values RB, as compared to the recently completed sale on ebay for the C2S. This cab, in a standard color is a $35k car. Timing is not in the seller's favor, as convertibles are seasonal. Also, Europe is on vacation in August, thus limiting the buying/bidding pool over the next week. Lastly, I'd recommend the seller correct the 3 issues he mentions in his ad (hood struts, stone guards and brake pads). Having to list 'excuses" that equate to a few hundred dollars, for a car that he hopes to sell for a big premium, is not prudent in my opinion. My guess is that the car will not hit reserve and/or will be cancelled prior to auctions end.

As much as I believe the 993 C2S to be the most beautiful car ever made (my opinion, obviously), to my eye, RB looks much better on a Cab.

As in the case for GYMGUY, I hope DALLWA gets top money, again this coming from a guy who is still searching for his first Porsche. I hope informed buyers respect the ad's honesty and this will help but not hurt the transaction.

On a related subject, you've got to admire capitalism in its most blatant form. Being the sponsor for this forum notwithstanding, enjoy this:

We know everyone raves about Riviera or Mexico Blue, but this rates right up there with them. Although not as bright as those, Dunkel Blu is just as great looking. Combined with the cashmere/black interior and equipped with blue deviating color interior trim, full power seats with supple leather, Hi-Fi Sound Package with 10 Speakers, Motor Sound Package, and Turbo Twist wheels. A unique, fun 911...

Someone tells me why the above is a better buy than this one from the same dealer: http://www.truspeedmotorcars.com/car...s.php?cid=2119 ; which is probably about $4k too high to begin with.

Again, capitalism at its best.
