It will be interesting to see how a regular cab in this color fares against the C2S with half the miles. I can't see this getting anywhere close to what that fetched but I would guess somewhere near 50? GLWS.

To the Ebay ad poster, might I suggest you blacken out the name/address of the recipient of the Porsche letter in the ebay photos. There's no telling what ebay flakes might do to the unsuspecting former owner. Don't blacken it on the actual letter (give that to the new buyer) but do blacken out the photo posted on ebay.

I would consider it a privacy issue myself.

That is a really cool color combo! I've never been a fan of beige interiors but on a blue car with blue dash it looks awesome!

Someone tells me why the above is a better buy than this one from the same dealer: http://www.truspeedmotorcars.com/car...s.php?cid=2119 ; which is probably about $4k too high to begin with.

Again, capitalism at its best.

Aren't those 17" 996/Boxster wheels not 18" Technology (aka Turbo Twist) wheels???

I agree RB looks good on a cab but it has to be right color combo .

This cab most likely will not fetch the big bucks because RB with grey top does not look right . I understand why none of the pictures in the ebay add shows car with top up .

Just my IMHO

I think the grey compliments the RB perfectly.... tone wise. Aventurine green with maroon top was a bit of thumb in the eye.

I think Tony bought this car several months ago from another RLer, who had a hard time unloading it in the high 40s. I'd speculate Tony paid low to mid 40s for this car, which is what it should fetch again. Any more, and it's just RB fever all over again.

Good luck with the sale.

If you are talking interior it is kind of ok but I would definitely change the top for black like the tonneau cover .

I read this thread with one eye open. I know the emotions RB can stir.

Thank you all for the positive comments and advice. I just added a couple pics of the grey top on.
I would like to find one with the windscreen on as well.

I don't have any visions of grandeur here. This car is not a 98 C2S with 12k miles on a widebody coupe.
It has a Reserve Price and if it hits that number it will sell. When I bought it last October,
I paid a fair price for it, and it was owned and kept by an extremely meticulous owner (Scott).

Yes, last night and today was the dealer crowd, they come in like a storm and then back out again as the price
rises and the meat on the bone dissappears. "call me", "send me your number", "whats it gonna take" all hit the trash can.
I haven't yet talked to that guy/gal who asks questions about the car versus just the price. I think that is when it will sell.

Cheers,
Tony

Now I've seen the pics I kinda see what you mean. One looks OK the other not so much. Guess it depends how it looks in real life as photos can be quite deceptive.

I prefer the black, even looked into a aftermarket top.

I bought the boot cover in black because I saw Arena993's and really like the contrast.

I am reading the ebay listing and not clear if there were any other upgrades done. What is a fair estimate of the additional dollars that need to be spent by the purchaser to bring it up to Rennlister standards?
